The Gothic Farmstead is a woman and lgbtq+ owned and operated business located in Pine City. Farmers Diane and Nadia cultivate and grow gourmet mushrooms, specialty produce, and raise ducks and chickens for pasture-raised eggs. We also offer delicious baked goods, which are available every Friday and Saturday at the Pine City Farmers Market. Beyond that, we sell through a CSA and keep our roadside farm stand stocked daily. Taking care of the soil is key and for that reason, we farm using low till and regenerative agricultural practices as much as possible. We are Minnesota Ag Water Quality Certified and all of our produce is grown without the use of herbicides or pesticides. This is our 2nd full season of growing and as beginner farmers, the challenges have certainly been grand! But we are passionate about growing food, taking care of animals and the land, and feeding our community. Getting to farm every day is a dream come true, even on the hardest days.
